While he has just entered high school, Jack Kohnen has already made a name for himself. The wing appears to one of the top incoming freshmen in all of Wisconsin.

This past season while playing with Chapman Basketball Academy, Kohnen was one of the top players in the 2027 class on the GNBA. Playing alongside Trey Resch, Mike Rogers Jr., and Tref Rademaker, they formed a dominant team that was able to capture the GNBA Championships back in June. “This season was very good, and I would consider successful,” Kohnen said. “This year we had a complete team, and all used our talents to work together and make the most successful team possible.”

Already at young age, Kohnen has good size on the wings at 6’5” with plenty of length to go along with a well-rounded skill set. “I would describe my game as doing a little bit of everything and doing whatever it takes to win,” the freshmen said. He is a fluid athlete with a good array of perimeter skills and can impact the game in a variety of ways. He has a great blend of tools that you do not often see for a player who has yet to start playing high school basketball.

Now into his freshmen year, Kohnen is attending Slinger High School. As he moves into playing at the high school level, Kohnen wants to improve his three-point shooting. ”My overall goal is to help my team as much as possible and have an immediate impact on winning,” he said about his upcoming high school season.
