Friday night at the 2019 Next Level Invitational was warm outside, cool in the gym and players sweating with big time effort to put up their best games to lead into the middle of the July live period. Guys from around the Midwest and beyond came out, played hard, shot the ball well and fought to lead their teams to win in front of several college coaches in attendance. Read on below to catch a rundown of many of the night’s top performers and others who improved their stock on the recruiting trail.

TOP PERFORMERS
AARON BOSLEY – 2020 – PG – MN SELECT KOCH

Bosley put together an excellent performance from the lead guard role, controlling the game for his team with his aggressive play and shooting ability. He drilled 4 three's in the game and added in a cold other buckets to finish with 17 points, while also handing out a few assists to teammates and playing fast defensively.

NOAH FRECHETTE – 2020 – SG – MN SELECT KOCH
The shooting guard out of Minnesota played really well and under control throughout the contest. Frechette was good with the ball and coming off screens and found his spots to score from, including sending in a couple three-pointers. He finished the win with 16 points. 

JAXON HALBERT – 2020 – SG – WEST MICHIGAN LAKERS 
Halbert played well and was consistent for the Lakers as he knocked down some big three’s to keep them in the game. He hit 4 from the perimeter and finished with 14 points. With that shooting he was a constant threat for the defense to worry about.

DaRON HALL – 2020 – PG – BREAKAWAY BASKETBALL
Hall made some outstanding plays to lead Breakaway to a nice win Friday. He was driving past defenders and drawing defense where he could drop some assists and otherwise showed great touch off the glass over defenders for scores. 

LOGAN JEDWABNY – 2020 – G – WI BLIZZARD KURANDA
Jedwabny again put the pressure on the defense with his outside shooting skills. He drilled 3 there’s in the game and was otherwise aggressive with the ball in his hands  looking to either score from the perimeter or attack the paint and get to the rim.

MAX KLESMIT – 2020 – G – WI BLIZZARD KURANDA
Klesmit played with outstanding energy and really made the opponent pay for any turnover or slip on defense. He was hitting three-pointers, mid-range jumpers, scored a short floater type shot and finished the game off on the rim with a two-handed fast break semi-dunk. Klesmit did well to display his overall skill set in leading his team to victory.

BRYCE NYBOER – 2020 – SF – WEST MICHIGAN LAKERS 
Nyboer played steady from start to finish for WML Friday evening, where he hit shots and was solid defensively with his effort and effectiveness. He drilled 3 triples in the game and was otherwise attacking the hoop looking to finish. Nyboer had 16 when it was all said and done.

CHRIS OKEKE – 2020 – F – SYF PLAYERS
Okeke played with great athleticism and force inside for SYF as they tried to come back throughout the game. He was effective rebounding the ball on both ends of the floor, including an outstanding two-handed tip-dunk posterizing the opponent. He showed good determination attacking the basket and finishing.

BLAKE PETERS – 2021 – G – FUNDAMENTAL U
Peters made a number of big time shots throughout the game for Fundamental. He buried a three in the opponent's eye early in the game and didn’t really look back. He went on to hit a number of other nice three-pointers, he handled the ball really well and found teammates for scoring opportunities, and rebounded the ball well too.

TY SLAGER – 2020 – PG – ILLINOIS STARS
Slager led his team from start to finish and really kept them in the game. He was knocking down three balls and pushing the tempo for some transition type buckets as well, really putting pressure on the opponent. His shooting ability with his quick release really stood out.

JERMAINE TOMLIN – 2020 – G/F – WORLD HOOPS ELITE
Tomlin made some big shots for WHE and was really effective with his shooting from start to finish. He finished well in transition, got a couple steals and rebounds, and was hitting from the perimeter also.

JAEDEN ZACKERY – 2019 – PG – WORLD HOOPS ELITE
Zackery was explosive to the hoop throughout the game Friday night. His first step was quick and to the rim and he finished with a variety of moves when he got to the paint. He also shot the ball pretty well away from the hoop and was excellent passing the ball, finding the open man for the score.

STOCK BBOOSTERS
GAVIN HERREMA – 2020 – G – SYF PLAYERS

Herrema put together a strong shooting performance Friday night. He was a knockdown from the wing/corner when catching off the spot-up, burying 4 three's. Herrema also played solid defensively and showed an underscored athleticism.

JACK CLIPPER – 2020 – SF – MN SELECT KOCH
Clipper played solid Friday evening and was good on the glass pulling down a number of rebounds for his team. He was stout around the basket and finished well, scoring 12 points.

MAX GLASS – 2020 – SF – WORLD HOOPS ELITE
Glass played well and made a few really nice plays for his team both shooting and finishing in transition. As his overall game comes together he should keep rising with his effort on both ends of the court.

OWEN ROSS – 2020 – PF – WEST MICHIGAN LAKERS
Ross played well overall both on defense and offense. He cleaned up well on the offensive glass a couple times, finished buckets at the rim and was solid defensively. 

ELI STEFFEN – 2020 – PG – WEST MICHIGAN LAKERS 
Steffen put together a nice performance from the PG spot by controlling his team’s tempo and putting his teammates in good positions together good shots. He also finished well in transition and on the drive, putting together 15 points.

PATRICK SUEMNICK – 2019 – PF – WORLD HOOPS ELITE
Suemnick showed some nicely developing offensive skills and was great moving and communicating defensively. He finished really well and under control in transition and rebounded hard.
