2019 NY2LA BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION – THIRD TEAM
Omar Zeigler – 2021 – G/F – Martin Luther King (MI) – Michigan Playmakers
A talented up and coming Junior to be, Zeigler was solid in the spring and he stepped up his game during the championships with a number of high caliber performances that helped power the Michigan Playmakers to the 17U championship.  He has nice size and length to go with athleticism, instincts, feel, and skill.  He can score at each level and he fills the box score when he’s active.  A talented up and coming prospect, Zeigler is a Division 1 talent whose best basketball is in front of him.

Garry Clark – 2020 – F – Cardinal Ritter College Prep (MO) – Team Ramey CCM Red
A talented 6-7 plus forward who was a model of consistency in the spring and summer.  Clark goes about his business quietly and he plays his role and produces game in and game out.  He was solid in the spring and he was outstanding during the July NY2LA Basketball Association Championships.  He attacked the glass, he scored from multiple levels, he has range that extends beyond the arc, etc. and he put all of that on display and more with a number of high caliber performances.

Parker Nielsen – 2020 – G – Prescott (WI) – MN Select Cave
A solid perimeter talent with a lot of game and his best basketball in front of him.  Equipped with nice size at 6-4, Nielsen brings a lot of interesting things to the court in terms of his awareness, skill set, instincts, feel, etc.  His perimeter stroke extends beyond the arc and he can fill the box score both offensively and defensively.  He has a solid spring and then his game elevated in July as he delivered a number of quality floor efforts in helping his team to the semi-finals of the 17U NY2LA Basketball Association Championships.  A solid talent that deserves low D1 and high D2 attention from schools moving forward.  He will be a steal potentially for the right program.

Matthew Willert – 2020 – G/F – Buffalo (MN) – MN Comets Elite
A long wiry talent with an ability to bring versatility and scoring to the table, Willert was the leading performer for the Comets in the spring and he was a big part of their run to the 17U NY2LA Basketball Association Gold Championship game before falling to the eventual champions from Australia.  Included in that run was a scintillating 33 point performance where he score from everywhere on the court.  A talented up and coming rising senior with size, length, skill, instincts, and feel, Willert was stellar at times in the spring and summer and his best basketball lies ahead.

Caden Boser – 2020 – F – Eau Claire Memorial (WI) – Wisconsin Swing Litscher
A 6-7 plus skilled forward who is more of a face up type at this stage, Boser showed flashes in the spring but his best effort was in July where he delivered a number of quality floor performances in helping his team to the Elite 8 of the 17U NY2LA Basketball Association Championships.  He physically has some nice tools in terms of size and length but his ability to step away from the basket and knock down the jumper from multiple levels will be a tool that low D1 and high D2 schools may be able to utilize at the next level.  When active and engaged Boser showed an ability to really make a huge impact on the game.
