Tons and tons of talent. Here is the next batch of players that boosted their stock in Indianapolis.
Armani Jones - 2022 - PG - WI RAP
The junior point guard contributed greatly on both ends of the floor. With his quickness, he gets all over ball handlers putting plenty of pressure on the ball. He was able to force several turnovers and wreak havoc on the oppositions offense. Jones played well attacking the basket to complete multiple and-one buckets in the paint as well to being a good passer on his drives.
Danilo Jovanovich - 2022 - F - Phenom University
A skilled wing forward that showed a great versatile scoring ability. He scored the ball in a number of ways over the weekend including on put backs, pulling up in the mid-range, driving to the basket, posting up, backing down defenders, and more. Jovanocih uses his 6’8”, tough play, and all his tools to just go and get a bucket in any way that he can.
Jared Lary - 2021 - G/F - Michigan Basketball Academy
An athletic wing that performed well on both ends of the floor. He maneuvers very well with the ball to get to the basket and finishes nicely with his length. Additionally, Lary shot the ball at high percentage when spotting up from three. He is a tough versatile defender that can matchup with both guards and forwards and defend them all over.
Jake Martin - 2022 - C - Phenom University
Martin has continued to make great progress in his game over the last several months and it really showed here. He has remarkable size standing at 7’1” plus a big strong build. His mobility as well as ability to defend have vastly improved. As well, to his ability to make some post moves and finish well at the basket.
Julian Norris - 2022 - G - C2K Elite
Norris showed a very good ability to score and distribute the basketball. He gets plenty of paint touches with good acceleration and is always looking for the open man on his drives. He plays the role of facilitator well, but proved to also be a crafty finisher around the paint and hit some shots from the outside. He has picked up offers from Miami (OH) and Bowling Green State this week.
Christian Nunn - 2022 - G - EG10
A tough 6’4” wing guard who scored the ball well attacking the basket. Nunn goes hard to the basket and battles through contact to get inside and gets up well to finish at the rim. He has some length and moves well to be all over ball handlers playing tough defense.
Andre Renta - 2022 - PG - WI Playmakers
Renta impressed greatly with his play on the defensive end. He was playing with great intensity and energy to be a very tough on ball defender. Has good quickness to get all over the ball without getting beat. He plays with a motor the just does not stop.
Idius Robertson - 2022 - PF - Team TTG
Robertson is a strong and powerful 6’7” big man. He scored it well on the block posting up with some soft touch over defenders or strong right through defenders. The junior also showed off a very good ability to pass out of the post. He is a tough defender inside that can really limit opposing big men in the paint.
Kobe Stoudemire - 2022 - PG - Louisville Legends
The junior point guard is incredibly difficult to stick with, with his great ability to change speeds and direction. He has some quickness and great shifty moves to often be beating defenders of the dribble. While he scored getting into the paint and pulling up in the mid-range, his biggest contribution came with his distributing as he was always scanning the floor looking to create for his teammates.
Gabriel Wright - 2021 - G/F - All In Athletics
A bouncy wing with some size at 6’6” that did a bit of everything for his team. A tough and versatile defender that really works on that end of the floor. Wright did the bulk of his scoring taking the ball hard to the bucket and finished well there, but he can also knock down the three.
