Throughout the entire NY2LA Futures Camp Quinton Lomack was one of the most impactful players and flashed plenty of talent on his way to winning the MVP award for the 2024 class. During the camp, the sophomore averaged 15.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.6 steals while shooting just over 65% from the field.
Lomack is a physical guard who impressed with the ball in his hands. He is a skilled playmaker that excelled during the camp playing downhill to the basket. Even as a sophomore he already has a solid build and some size as a guard at 6’3”. He does a nice job of using both his strength and quickness to penetrate the defense with ease. Lomack was able to get all the way to basket often and finish strong right through contact. As well he showed a good ability to create in the mid-range with a nice pull up jumper. He is a good decison maker with the ball in his hands that knows where to go with it.
All together the sophomore already has plenty of tools that will translate to the college level. With all that Lomack can do on the floor, look for him to become a very popular name during his upcoming sophomore season with Madison La Follette High School.
