Championship Sunday at the Generation Next Invitational did not disappoint. With trophies and tournament titles on the line, players brought their best game. Here are the players that took their game to the next level and helped their teams the most throughout bracket play.
Edward Bullock – 2028 – G – Chapman Basketball
Bullock is a pure scorer that can get it done in a variety of ways effectively. Even at a young age the guard showed a very high skill level on Sunday. He moves extremely well with the ball to not only get to the basket but also create his own shot from the outside. As well to his high skill he is a smart guard that knows how to play.
Cash Myers – 2028 – F – Bombers Elite
In the biggest of moments, Meyers came up big. In the last few minutes of the 12U championship game he had a few key buckets as well as rebounds to help the Bombers secure the trophy. The forward has a good combination of size and skill to put up 23 points in the title game.
Chris Smith – 2029 – G – Martin Brothers
Smith was one of a few highly talented players from the 11U Martin Brothers team and helped lead them in the championship game with 14 points to the title. He is an elusive point guard that not only gets to the basket well but was also knocking down some threes. A true playmaker that excels with the ball in his hands.
Ian Thomas – 2026 – G – Mid Pro Academy South
One of the more impressive players at the 14U level who had a tremendous Sunday to help Mid Pro to the title game. He is a long and athletic guard that took his game to another level to win his team some big games. His play on both ends of the floor was key in knocking of some talented teams in the quarterfinal and semifinal games Sunday.
Naef Yusef – 2026 – G – Martin Brothers
While there were plenty of great performances on championship Sunday, Yusef may have had the best scoring 22 points to help Martin Brothers win the 14U championship. Not only did he score 22 points, but was a true stat stuffer doing so much for his team. He is a highly versatile player with a nice blend of size, length, and skills at a young age.
