Throughout the season on the GNBA, one of the top players consistently was Hayden Schroeder with M14. Already at a young age having just finished up the eighth grade, the forward has a nice blend of size standing at 6’4” with his skill level.
All spring, Schroeder was one of the top scorers on the 14U level of the GNBA. Game after game, he showed the ability to score twenty plus point with plenty of defensive attention on him. “The spring season with M14 on the GNBA was great. It was an awesome season with my teammates and coaches,” Schroeder said.
He is a versatile scorer that used his size and physicality to score around the paint but also played very well off the dribble attacking the basket. He also has plenty of bounce to his game throwing down a few dunks over the course of the season.
The forward will be attending Wheaton Academy in a couple of months to begin high school. He will be a player to track in Illinois’ 2027 class as he was already making a big impact this June starting for high school’s varsity team. As he moves into high school, he is looking to improve his three-point shooting off the dribble and improving his ball handling.
